Updated and Expanded Home in Historic South Dahlia Lane
South Dahlia Lane is one of the Denver area’s most unique and special mid-century modern neighborhoods, with 32 homes all designed by the same architect, Eugene Sternberg, an immigrant from the former Czechoslovakia. The homes that he designed and neighborhood he planned were built around affordability, community, and beauty. The neighborhood has no thru traffic, and is built around a private park for the residents. While nearly all of the homes have been expanded through the years, most still retain their original architecture, and have been expanded respectfully through the years - this one included.
I was invited to shoot this home twice - first in the winter, during which it was pulled off the market - and then again in spring to update the photography with more seasonally appropriate images. The home ultimately sold for $1.13M.
