Former Showhome Still Shows Wonderfully in Westminster’s Apple Blossom Lane.
I was invited to shoot this modest 1950s mid-century modern ranch home in Westminster’s Apple Blossom Lane neighborhood. As the original model home for Swanson & Associates in the neighborhood, this home is beautifully designed and laid out - and much of its original architecture has been maintained through the years. A wall of glass faces the street, interrupted by a roman brick fireplace element that penetrates the glass pane as an independent mass. Some original interior woodwork brings warmth to the home, and the bedrooms have ample windows, including glass clerestories in the two back bedrooms. This home sold for $658k in 2022, considerably above the neighborhood average.
